Darjeeling Second Flush Tea yields its finest quality after spring. Carefully handpicked during the months of May and June, the tea leaves of the Second tea Flush have beautiful purplish blooms. In contrast to the First tea Flush, this yield retains a darker amber hue and a stronger, fuller body, but with a smoother finish. It is savoured the world over for its unique, sweet, and fruity muscatel grape flavour.
Darjeeling Second Flush Tea is a full-bodied tea with a muscatel flavour and fruity finish.
The Darjeeling Second Flush tea leaves are plucked only in the favourable months of May and June, and have a stronger hue and taste compared to the other flushes.
To make the best Darjeeling second flush tea, it is recommended to steep the tea between 2 to 2.5 minutes depending on your preference.
